We started off with the Duck Sausage Tacos. The sausage had great flavor, but it could have used a sauce. Maybe a little salsa or a hit of pico de gallo.
The belgian fries were okay at best. I don't know if they beer brine these fries like the spot in LA. But, it didn't have the same crunch as Wurstkuche. They do have a bunch of dipping sauces to choose from. We went with the spicy ketchup. This happened to be ketchup mixed with sriracha sauce.
The sausage I went with was the Korean Beef BBQ sausage with carmelized onions. Before I get to the sausage, I do want to mention that their rolls get soggy pretty quickly. On with the meat talk... This particular sausage was quite tasty. It really makes you feel like you're eating at a korean bbq joint with the grill in the center of the table. It had that distinct flavor of soy sauce and chilis with a hint of sweetness.
On a side note, they do have a great selection of bottle beers, specialty sodas (Mexican Coke... aaahhhh), and wines. Would I go back? More than likely. I hope the other sausages are up to par with my first sampling. They're just as pricy as the LA spot. Only real advice to make them a real hit... Step your belgian fries game up.
